I'm already foreseeing that Jake thought about the idea of Peridot yoinking the communicator, still determined to hold onto her awesome villain backstory despite Finn having successfully befriended her.

I was recently trying to run Curse of Strahd, but it quickly devolved into a horrific war between Slaad and Modrons, lead by a Dracula Expy and a time-Inevitable whom has two personality modes depending on if there's any Chaotic outsiders nearby... Solair of Astora, and Doomguy.
Party is made up of A Tiefling Bard with high charisma, a Aasimer blade pact hemlock with high charisma, and said Inevitable Hex Knight, with no charisma.
Both the former know Sleep and Charm Perrson, and tend to abuse both to redeem any human cultists or whatever they tend to find....
So that last panel with peridot is baaaasicaly this Warlock, since no one can doubt his snarky word.
(I am told I interpret the charmed condition very liberally, but me doing so makes the spell actually worth using in 5th)

A blade pact Hemlock sounds terrifying for a plant, but I meant Warlock, blame spellchecker.

I wouldn't foreshadowing without an idea of the payoff. Hussie made it work because he had between 600 (some Troll comments) and 4000 (That book could crush a cat) pages to work on it.

Nothing witty to say except buying myself time to try and get my train of thought back on the track for wherever da heck I am going with all of this.
