I'm interested in seeing how you manage to make a lesson of friendship from this episode, but also, was there ever any explanation in the comic about the whole 'Cluster' thing? I could've sworn at one point Steven had wanted to learn more about it but unless Finn was told off-screen, I didn't see anyone talking about it. It is definitely a unique choice to wait so long to actually have an in-depth discussion on it.

So, anyone going to point out that technically, Tom is trespassing?
Unless the door being open means they forgot to shut the door, I'm pretty sure entering someone's house like that, unannounced and unwanted counts as trespassing.
If I’d thought of such at the time, probably would have been a pretty fun thing to poke at.

But he DID announce he would come to negotiate and he WASN'T rejected, going by what Bella said. So that wouldn't meet any of the requirements you just mentioned
