I find my little 'many rounds later' thingy to be very convenient in allowing me to bypass needing to do whole panels and pages devoted to fight scenes. Which given my understanding of the rules of any system are kinda iffy at best is probably for the best. Not saying I don't still intend to do fight scenes, but given the nature of this particular one...it just felt right.

Also yeah, Tom's there. REally did not expect to be opening up the first page of the New Year with him showing back up, but there you go.

I am entertained how you've managed to skip between different episodes to best suit the story you've made- instead of Peridot being poofed and brought to the Temple after a fight, Steven just rolled really well and she was convinced to come with him, and her being unsociable is just her roleplayer not wanting to shift her into full teammate mode yet. And a lot of the dialogue that would happen in some of the episodes would no longer be necessary given that the people playing them already know all that.

I'm curious what might happen with Tom back- perhaps we're going straight to Super Watermelon Island? Jake talked to Belle Noche about Peridot before, so it intrigues me how the Lapis-Peridot business might happen in this campaign (whether it will be skimmed over with them being buddy-buddy sooner or if they'll get really into the roleplaying).
