Name a time you, another player, or the GM had a character insisted someone stop doing something, but literally did nothing to stop it.

Or just name a time when everyone at the table got so caught up in talking that you totally forgot where you were or what you were doing in the story.

HOLY--! Wow, that was a twist! This isn't a canon thing, right? I'm not missing a huge thing from Steven Universe?

Lately, in our 5th Edition Tyranny of Dragons campaign, my Wizard will look up from his book long enough to tell the Paladin that's a bad idea, then go back to reading. He has high Int but low Wis, so that's actually not as frequent as you might think.

Of course, if the Paladin listened to the Wizard, he wouldn't have a permanent 23 Strength from mixing two different Potions of Giant's Strength and drinking it. The Wizard explained to him several different ways this could not possibly end well when asked to help, although he was willing to try. Then the Paladin knocked them both in one swig a couple sessions later.
