Finn Mertins for Campaign Boss, 2018! Whoot!

And I can't be the only one who seriously thought the obviously more Jasper-like assymetrical wild form Amethyst took was SOME beginning sign of corruption that simply got staved off by being poofed BEFORE it took permanent hold right?

Far as Essence, it is a Shadowrun Statistic primarily relating to the cybernetically enhanced and how 'unsettled' they are from the norm. More freaky and tricked out you get, lower it gets. Least that's my understanding of it, it's probably more complicated than that.

See you Saturday.

I hadn't thought about it in a potential Corruption sense... I have long had the thought that the reason Amethyst is so good at shape-shifting, especially when we learned that Amethysts are not normally so small, is that she has like a lot of extra mass (or mass potential given their bodies are hard light) that is all 'smooshed up' in her small frame, possibly from having been left in her hole for too long.

If you run out of essence in the main game, you become a machine. If you run out of essence through gem corruption, you similarly lose yourself. It's a good parallel.
