Daniel is NOT the strongest all. Mathematically OR thematically as he is caught easily in that little trick of words. Which is a lot less funny in text than in spoken word.

And seriously, who wouldn't wanna summon dragons under your own will instead of the bad guys? Show of hands.

Next page will be tomorrow!

Seto Kaiba, the Signers, Yuya Sakaki, and his doppelgangers can't be wrong.

Hey, Rastaba? I'm currently working on a campaign comic of my own, and I was wondering if I could ask for a word of advice. How much of a buffer of finished/scripted strips should I have before I think about starting to post?

I would recommend at least a couple week's to a couple month's of buffer depending on which you feel more comfortable with and the schedule you are thinking of. Working to do that many can also help get you a feel for if you really wanna do it regularly.

Oh, cool! I look forward to reading that!

That's what I keep hearing, but thanks.

Just out of curiosity, what made you want to make your comic out of Steven Universe?

1st Jul 2017, 5:48 PM

I love Steven Universe, it was a series I already owned all of (at the time I started), on ITunes, and it had a small enough cast I wouldn't get bogged down, like I would have if I had gone with Bleach since hard to justify everyone fighting everyone if it is just the GM, while having a fair sized cast to put characters to, unlikely Adventure Time which except a few episodes primarily centered on Finn and Jake with a ton of characters a single GM could cover or else use 'One offs'.

Yeah... Guess it really does boil down to how well it translates. And for the record, I think you really hit the sweet spot with Crystal GeMs. How do you find the time to update so frequently, though?

What series are you planning on doing for your comic? The series is also important as you can draw in the fanbase for the series. Though be warned if the comic isn't respectful to the series then the fanbase can turn against you. I'm reading almost all of the shared universe that this comic takes place in, the only exception being the Avatar one(I personally don't really like the players in that comic so it just bugs the hell out of me).

@ChaosStar0 I'm working from the DC Extended Universe, which starts with Man of Steel. I just really, really love those characters and see so much of myself in them... though I'm not sure that's a fanbase that I want to attract, given how polarized it already is. -_-

Well if you ever need to borrow any of the GeMs don't be afraid to send a PM and ask.

Thank you for the generous offer. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. :)

Numerous factors. Primarily I have a job that lets me chiefly work from home and have a very solid art program that lets me do what I want quickly. I also just happen to be better at having characters hold a fake conversation than holding one with a real person.

Thank you for your time, you've been extremely helpful. I'll definitely work to get it posted :)
