The Next Comic is Friday.
cool comic, but there are copy right laws, just be careful. that cartoon network do not find out.
I used to put a disclaimer right in my authors notes before I figured out how to put it in that black bar right at the bottom of the page. This is just a parody and I never claim to own anything except the art program I use and a hefty iTunes library. And a hit and miss sense of humor.
You should still be careful, while I don't see Cartoon Network getting upset at this, the whole "this is protected because it's a parody" thing isn't a law in itself, its a legal defense that doesn't come into play until AFTER you are already brought to court for copyright violation
Again, I don't see Cartoon Network or anyone else involved with this show caring enough to actually go that far, but it's still something to look out for in general

Well that WAS true until "Lenz v. Universal Music Corps." Admittedly that's only in one circuit court, but it's been appeals to the Supreme Court. A ruling there states that copyright holders must consider fair use or they could be sued for abuse of the legal system. Currently, it requires only a subjective belief that it's not protected, which is nearly impossible to prove unless someone stupidly says they don't hold that. That's part of the reason for the appeal.
This is a parody and protected by copyright law, and if you look at the bottom of the page, it credits the original creators.
